Condition based monitoring has been with us for many years from listening to different noises from a drive train assembly with the human ear to the introduction of accelerometer sensors providing analogue and digital signals that can interpret the frequencies into potential electro-mechanical failures. The majority of CBM solutions provide diagnostic information based on a fault to the asset already producing a frequency that identifies the potential fault. We provide high quality wired and wireless sensors that have been developed to provide this information. These can be used in many industrial environments providing consistent quality of data for interpretation. With new software it is also possible now to provide a prognostic approach to CBM by being able to predict the failure prior to failures and subsequent frequencies occurring.
